I have developed a deeper love for Christ through your explanations of scripture. One of the major things I look for whenever I visit a new church is freedom of speech (a God given unalienable right). I figure how can a congregation seek truth of the scripture if they are not free to disagree and to discuss their disagreement and provide an explanation. God has blessed me and opened my eyes to many things because of it.

Yes you are correct! It makes sense seeing He wanted us to be restored to Him and the sin issue to be resolved and He is the only one that could achieve this for us.

Wouldn't that be interesting! I think his description is more accurate. Christ accepts us and we get to share in that. Saying the opposite, that we accept Christ, may give a good feeling to those who are in the free-will camp, which is okay. But our acceptance really isn't the issue. The issue is being accepted by God, which is what the cross is all about!

I like what he has said about not Christ coming into my life but Christ accepting me into His. That makes more sense to me. We just need now for churches over the world to change their terminology and theology on this one and to practice it the way Steve has in his article.
